We will be having church work days on Sat, Sept 11 and Sat, Sept 18 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Pack a lunch and come out as we finish up some final projects before you more in!

We are excited to have Dr. John Hammett, professor of Systematic Theology at SEBTS, back this October to deliver a series of talks for our annual Reformation Study Series.  This year he will be speaking on the subject of Baptist History.

Each Life Group will be meeting at the church from 5:00-6:00 for accountability time, and then from 6:00-7:15 Dr. Hammett will deliver his talks. 

This October 31, we are encouraging each LifeGroup to spend time ministering to their community in their community.  Each LifeGroup will have freedom as to how they will do this, but we encourage you to take advantage of the possible evangelistic and other ministry opportunities that might be available as trick-or-treaters come walking down your street or knocking on your door! 

Ideas include: giving out candy, gospel tracts (we like the Two Ways to Live tract or For Your Joy), hot chocolate, church brochures, inviting neighbors to your LG meeting, asking parents how your LG could pray for them while, etc.
